FAQ
Everything you need to know about The Duo Challenge.
What is The Duo Challenge?
A real-world competition where 1,000 two-person teams compete through 8 elimination rounds for a €100,000 grand prize. Most challenges happen in real life — you film proof and submit it through the platform.
Who can form a duo?
Any two people — couples, friends, siblings, colleagues, parent and child. Both members must be 18+ and each person can only be part of one duo per season.
How much does it cost?
The entry fee is €300 per duo (not per person). This covers both team members for the entire competition.
What kind of challenges?
Roughly 80% of challenges are real-world tasks — physical, creative, strategic, or social. About 20% involve in-app interaction. Specific challenges are revealed when each round opens.
What are lives?
Each duo starts with 5 lives. Failing a challenge or receiving penalties costs lives. Lose all your lives and you're eliminated. You may be able to purchase extra lives for specific rounds.
How does elimination work?
Each round has an elimination target. Duos are ranked by performance, and those at the bottom are eliminated. The competition goes from 1,000 duos to 50 over 8 rounds.
What happens in the finals?
The top 50 duos are invited to Munich for a 2-day live competition. Travel and accommodation are covered. The event is livestreamed and the winning duo takes home €100,000.
Can I flag suspicious submissions?
Yes. Approved submissions can be flagged by other participants. Admins review all flags. However, making false flags will result in penalties — after 2 false reports, your duo can be disqualified.
What if my submission is rejected?
Depending on the challenge rules, you may be able to resubmit. The admin will provide a reason for rejection and guidance on what's needed.
Are refunds available?
Refunds are available before the competition starts. Once Round 1 begins, no refunds are issued.
